hello sadness...
平気! Even though my heart has been torn to pieces
happiness sneaks in filling in the cracks you left
I swear I wont even sigh
if sadness comes along, surprising me...
I'll welcome it as a friend,
that's a promise.

back home...
after 3 weeks in ali baba land...felt like much longer...
old buildings tore down, new buildings completed
trees cleared, bare sky, bare land, new shoots
people change, relations drifted, relations strengthened, people change
nothing actually changed...maybe, I am the only one changed.
or maybe, I didnt...when, there is no I.

iPod 3G battery replacement
Apple iPod (3G) third generation 15Gb. My first iPod back in 2003 to work with windows... firewire only. Back then, windows PC dont come with firewire port. Have to get a firewire port PCI card...and iTunes for windows 98. This is the best iPod by far, with no movable control buttons, cept for hold switch. Thinking it couldlast for years...and it did!
2009, battery last less than 20mins and on permanent charging in the office. Time to change the battery. Bought one from dealexteme.com at low low price of USD5.84. Then comes the problem, the iPod is a tough nut to crack. Broke the 2 plastic tool and left it on the desk until in feb, while clearing the desk, decided to try again with penknife and managed to replace the batt ... finally. on the 7th year. A new life.

Sun + Oracle = Oracle
Oracle finally completed the purchase of Sun Mircosystems. sun.com is redirected to oracle.com. Sun has been a great technology company, lets hope it continues to be, under the new management.

Oracle DB on Solaris Zone
Found a good article. Best Practices for Running Oracle Databases in Solaris Containers
Its a good read for understanding and setting up the right environment for Oracle DB. The script is less than desirable. Luckily I know zones well enough to not reply on the scripts.
